Michael J. Leach (@m_jleach) is an Australian academic and poet. Michael’s poems reside in The Galway Review, Cordite Poetry Review, Meniscus, Rabbit, Consilience, NatureVolve, Live Encounters, Plumwood Mountain,  the 2021 Hippocrates Prize Anthology (The Hippocrates Press, 2021), and elsewhere. His poetry books include Chronicity (Melbourne Poets Union, 2020) and Natural Philosophies (Recent Work Press, forthcoming). Michael’s scholarly essay about visual science poetry appeared in the ‘Poetry Now’ special issue of TEXT (https://doi.org/10.52086/001c.30987). He lives on unceded Dja Dja Wurrung Country and acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land.
