The Wind

Let the flowers decide
which way the wind shifts
Rights and recourses
splintered past recognition

Your plate piled
so high beyond imagining
people would kill for
what you have

Yet there you are
searching out
the more and more.

What sharp kernel
stuck in your throat
keeps choking
your humanity?

The wind shirs the curtain
I wake up lonely every day.
You?
