Michael J Leach is a statistician, health researcher, and poet with a PhD in Pharmacy and a passion for the humanities. He works at the Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Service and undertakes research through Monash University School of Rural Health. His poems have appeared in literary and medical journals, including Cordite Poetry Review, The Galway Review, Haiku Journal, Medical Humanities, and the Medical Journal of Australia. He lives in his birthplace of Bendigo, Australia.
