Ian Kelleher – Sunset

Ian Kelleher has self-published a book of poems called A Suicidal Star (2009).

Some of his poems were previously published in The Galway Review.

He lives in Crosshaven, Co. Cork, and has a degree in Music from UCC.

The sky is like whiskey
When the sun sinks low
Your body is a worm
Which softly glows.
When your glass is empty
Fill it with gold,
Still you feel like a bottle
Which is always being poured.
