Dreams Made of Popsicle and Marshmallow

Give me popsicle and marshmallow
Fly me to the moon or drench me in pools shallow

Send me a postcard that says I love you
Kiss me goodnight and tuck me in tender hugs

Happiness is the moment
I wipe my tears away after falling

Bliss is the bud you lopped off of that rose
Memories are the petals the heaving wind blew away

Give me popsicle and marshmallow
The taste of sugar on my lips and sugar’s effulgent halo
