Dr Michael J. Leach is currently employed as a Data and Quality Specialist at the Loddon Mallee Integrated Cancer Service (LMICS), Bendigo Health. He is also a published epidemiologist, writer, poet, and photographer who originally trained in pharmacy. His creative writing, including poetry, is published or forthcoming in the Medical Journal of Australia, Medical Humanities, The Copperfield Review, The Galway Review, A New Ulster, Survive & Thrive: A Journal for Medical Humanities and Narrative As Medicine, and Pulse – Voices from the Heart of Medicine. He lives in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.
