When you read your poem

When you read your poem standing over there,
I hear a sobbing hidden beneath.
In loneliness you cry,
And your tears become my fear,
Increasing my wish to die.
When you are sad,
It drowns me in the abyss of pain.
lonely I feel when you aren’t with me,
And it hurts like a hole in my heart.
When you read your poem standing over there,
Words are stabbing my soul.
And so many things between us,
Creates a kaleidoscopic view before my eyes.
But I want you to know that,
When you read your poem standing over there,
A smile on your face is the everything I wish to see,
Between the many odd things.
