Tony Hall is a lecturer in NUI Galway. He is a graduate of the University of Limerick (BA Physical Education and English, and PhD Computer Science) and NUI Galway (Master of Information Technology). He recently completed the Postgraduate Award in Teaching Shakespeare with the Royal Shakespeare Company/University of Warwick. He is a former post-primary school teacher of Physical Education, English and ICT. Tony writes poetry, fiction and non-fiction.

Doonreagan by Ann Henning Jocelyn, directed by Alex Dmitriev, with Flora Montgomery and Daniel Simpson. Workshop Presentation at Doonreagan, Cashel, Co. Galway, Sunday May 26th, at 16.30.Ann Henning Jocelyn had an early playwright debut in her native Sweden whilst completing a degree in Drama. Then, following two years at drama school in London, she worked as an assistant to director Charles Marowitz at his Open Space Theatre in London and appeared in a number of productions there. In January 2014, her new play Only Our Own will have its world premiere at the Arts Theatre in London’s West End. Read more…
