Do You Feel Upside Down?

 Have you noticed,

Being painted red or blue

Strips our humanity?

Its one ballot line of thousands

That causes our insanity.

Now our fate is determined

By one guys morality.

Have you noticed,

Workers in strawberry fields forever,

Now running away?

The Oval Office tenants,

Washing their hands on Holy Monday?

The feeling this fever,

Is here to stay?

Do you feel upside down?

Well take some comfort in that,

Youre not alone.

Have you noticed,

When people have boots on their neck,

They pay the price?

The guys who replaced your roof,

Were handcuffed by ICE?

The short supply of faith in the Middle East,

Killing without thinking twice?

Have you noticed,

Fearless leader is afraid of the guy,

Who invaded Ukraine?

Benny and the jets made Warsaw and Gaza

Look the same?

The children of Abraham keep repeating,

Abel and Cain?

Do you feel upside down?

Well take some comfort in that,

Youre not alone.

Have you noticed,

The cavalry will come,

When we make a fuss?

That drone debris kills,

And iron is porous?

Leaders protected by guns and lawyers,

Are willing to sacrifice us?

Have you noticed,

To protect Americans

They have to kill us?

Well not really all,

Just the domestic terrorists.

Their names are Alex and Rene

Iced in Minneapolis.

Do you feel upside down?

Well take some comfort in that,

Youre not alone.

Youre not alone.

Youre not alone.
