A black cat
A black cat blends
Into the night- coal,
Street lights stretch
Like an infinite ladder,
The night yells a cry-thunder,
Her tears fall,
Drowning the flowers
In sorrowful death,
The chirping of the
Crickets- a funeral song,
For yesterday,
Now forever gone,
While tomorrow
Sleeps,
Not knowing,
She too will di
Wrinkles
Wrinkles,
Each a grave
The brush of doom
Draws in my face,
My skin, a rug
Stretching from
The womb of
Creation to
The gates of death,
This ribcage,
A vault hoarding ancient wishes
Where the echo of
My youth ever cries,
My veins,
Knitted into rusted lines
In the archives of time
Rubies
Rubies drip
Their souls into a
Merlot,
Their universe a cup,
A cascade
Falls through
The terrains
Of human flesh,
Down, down,
The stairs
Of a tongue,
Into the void
Never to return
Our fingers
Our fingers latch
Into a labyrinth,
Our palms
Fold like the moon,
As our atoms
Intertwine into
A single universe,
We kiss,
Bridging two
Continents apart,
Our ancient hearts
Two pendulums
Beating on the edge
Of time,
Dawn bleeds
Its soul into our
Cheeks,
We fuse into
The light
A swan
A swan
His neck a staircase into
The white clouds,
Wings, oars
Of silk,
Toiling
Against
The waves of
Water,
Another swan,
Their necks
Folded as beads
Of pearly foam,
They envelop
Themselves
Into snowy landscape,
A rose blossoms
Untamed blood
Of love,
They swim together
Till the edge of doom,
Two cries shatter
The air,
Their song an arrow
Breaking the wind
Into a million
Pieces,
For such is their sorrow
