IMMA: EI2EEN Remembering Gray

IMMA, October 2013 to April 2014 

If you find yourself in IMMA in Dublin on a Saturday afternoon, you can see the Southeast Dublin Amateur Radio Club broadcasting a poem by Alice Lyons for Eileen Gray via Morse Code from the gallery. This exhibit is part of Sarah Browne’s installation ‘Remembering Gray’ on the first floor of IMMA.

Poets Parlour Open Mic

The Yeats Society monthly Poet’s Parlour will resume on Thursday 31st October at 8.00pm. The Poet’s Parlour gives an opportunity for aspiring and published poets to read from their own work in a regular open-mic session. Come and share your own work or listen to the experience of our occasional guest poets. The Poet’s Parlour will run on the last Thursday of the Month at 8.00pm (excluding December) until the summer.

Over The Edge: Open Reading

The October ‘Over The Edge Open Reading’ will take place in Galway City Library. The featured readers are Sarah O’Toole, Margaret Brady & Frank Dullaghan. There will also be the usual open-mic. The evening will also see the announcement of the winners of this year’s ‘Over The Edge New Writer of The Year’ competition. This year’s competition judge is Sarah Clancy.
