Quay Street, Galway

There are ghosts on Quay Street
Not the Claddagh ghosts
Who looked for company
Late crossings on the bridge
To the old place
But my ghosts
Left behind on Fairhill
Wondering now where I am
Why the light flickered
Why I can’t find my way home
